Gallery and Free Stuff Sections Repaired

Some people have had issues uploading images since the restore of the site.

This has since been corrected.
You should now be able to upload images and freestuff items correctly now.

Second Life forums are back up

The Second Life Forums are back up and ready.

Please feel free to post your questions, comments, or just say hello in our second life forums here.

A New poll was posted asking whether or not you think the Second Life forums should be split up for more detail. Post your opinions and make your vote heard.

Please remember that if you cannot log in you may need to Re Register due to the server rollback from the harddrive failure.

Slowly Recovering after Hardware failure

Hard Drive Failure

Hello All,
The Rendervisions/The Art Door webserver had a major hard drive failure.
We had to revert to a backup that is about 2 years old. If you had signed up after October 2006 you will have to reregister.

we are working hard to recover much of the lost data and may recover a newer database. But until such time you will have to reregister and repost anything you wanted posted to the site.

Please keep in mind some sections of the site are not 100% yet but should all be functioning.

Marketplace is down for Update
Hello,
The Art Door's Marketplace at Rendervisions will be closed for maintenence until September 10th.
We will be updating the look of the store as well as ease of use.
Please note we will also be adding products to the marketplace that have been queued.
We will also be readding the secure verisign certificate to the Marketplace allowing secure transactions for your purchases.
We appologize for the delay in adding products and the downtime of the marketplace.

Rendervisions is now The Art Door!
Hello everyone,

Rendervisions has had a makeover!
Along with the makeover came a name change. One of the reasons we changed the name of rendervisions to The Art Door is to make the name more memorable.
We are still the same site (By artists for artists) but with new ideas and updates.

Here is a List of just some of the changes to the site:
New Login Area with personal dropdown items.
New Forum Posts display on the main page to list new topics or posts.
New Text editor for posting stories which also allows html editing.
New AD area for companies/artists to purchase AD space per impression.
Chat Room Update for more stability
New Writers Gallery! This Section will show the writers gallery the way it was meant to be.
New Blogs section. Want to write a blog? Simply go to your blog section and write one for all to see.
Gallery Options added: Nudity Toggle when you click on Gallery Settings, while in the gallery you are now able to turn off or on viewing nudity (Off by Default).
The Art Door look and feel has been changed.
Things to be completed:

Verisign Security in the Marketplace will be renewed!
The Marketplace front page and Look and Feel will be updated.
Banners for the Marketplace items have not been readded yet.
Freestuff section Look and Feel is not completed on all pages.
Sponsor AD's have not yet fully implemented yet.
The Buddy List is turned off until it has been updated.
